EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION FOR GUEST FACULTY

The Institute invites applications for the appointment of Guest Faculty in MBA (Rural Development) Programme on per lecture basis. Applicants should have Post Graduate Degree in any of the following subjects: Management, Rural Management, Agricultural and Social Psychology, Sociology and Political Science. The selected Guest Faculty are expected to participate in other academic activities including tutorials, field visits and guidance to the students and undertake any other assigned task by concerned authorities from time to time. The appointments will be on purely temporary basis and all the terms and conditions will apply as per the UGC norms. Retired teachers can also apply. Emoluments will be Rs. 1,000 per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month only. EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION FOR TEMPORARY PROJECT STAFF.

The Institute undertakes a number of Research Projects every year and maintains a roaster of Researchers. Those with a Post Graduate degree in any of the Social Science Subjects as well as those with Ph.D. in Social Sciences are encouraged to apply on plain paper. Applications will be received any time of the year.

ADMISSION IN DOCTORAL PROGRAMME

The Institute invites applications for its doctoral programme from candidates awarded UGC Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in Economics, Anthropology, Sociology and History. Candidates may send their applications by email at director@gbpssi.org.in or by post by August 14, 2010.

No TA shall be paid but accommodation shall be provided for the day of the interview.
